Christmas with our Family

Christmas this year was spent with the Schneiber side of the family here in Houston. Erik/Megan/Isabelle just moved here permanently and the rest of the crew flew in to visit.

We spent time enjoying this cute baby trio: Louise, Abraham, and Isabelle.  Only Abraham is crawling right now, but by the time we're all together next year, things are going to be a lot busier with 3 toddlers running around!

Cute babies under the Christmas Tree:
Abe
Louise (or Emma-Louise, or Lou-Lou, or Weezy)
Isabelle had about 14 adorable Christmas outfits to wear this season
We all enjoyed a wonderful, uplifting Christmas service at church.  Followed by some of the least painful family pictures ever.

We are growing by leaps and bounds!
We did some (moderately successful) caroling:
We enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL Houston weather going on walks, and playing tennis/badminton/kubb:
Great Grandma Emma was such a good sport to travel all of the way here from Utah.
My two sisters both work in healthcare and had to be back at home to work on Christmas Day, so we did our celebration a few days early.  Luckily, none of our kids know how to read a calendar yet, so we pulled it off without a hitch!

Christmas day was magical.

Savannah and Lily were so excited for Santa to bring each of them their own nutcracker (?!), and were ecstatic when he came through for them.  Other highlights were bikes for the older two, a princess pony castle for Caroline, board games that the kids can play, their very own dumbbells to use while exercising with Mom, and cute "Stuffies" stuffed-animals from Great Grandma Ada that now accompany us everywhere we go.

Grandma Lola brought dresses back from her trip to Mexico.  Caroline wants to wear hers every day now.
We couldn't get all 3 babies awake at the same time that morning.  So 2 out of 3 was good enough!
This Christmas we were all very grateful to be together as a family.  My mom was diagnosed with cancer just a few days after everyone got here, and to all be here to rally behind her was a huge, huge blessing.   This Christmas season felt especially meaningful as we each felt the Savior's love comforting us and bringing peace.  We are so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in each of our individual lives, and are grateful for the eternal unity we feel as a family.

I love my Savior, I'm thankful for His life and His perfect example.  I'm especially thankful for the healing love He shares with me and my loved ones.
